Day 1: Moscow
Meeting at the airport. Welcome to Russia! Sightseeing tour around Moscow: First we will drive in the direction of the old Moscow to see ‘the old town of masters’ located in front of Kitay Town. we will have a stop at Sofiiskaya Embankment with the magnificent view to the old Kremlin structures and walls. Next is the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, the main Moscow Cathedral and holy place for all Muscovites. The tour continues with a drive through the business area of the city - MOSCOW CITY to Vorobiev Hills with the magnificent panoramic view over Moscow and the world renowned Moscow University. Novodevichy Convent, Zamoskvorechye and Zaryadye. Than we will bring you to Poklonnaya Hill, where the monument to the heroes of Second World War is located.
Lunch / dinner. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 2: Moscow
Breakfast. Full day Moscow sightseeing tour. Red Square. Moscow Kremlin - It is a historic fortified complex at the heart of Moscow. The complex serves as the official residence of the President of the Russian Federation. The Moscow Kremlin submitted to UNESCO World Heritage.
The Armoury Chamber - is a unique treasury-museum displaying the wealth accumulated by Russian rulers from the 12th century till the October revolution of 1917. Walking in the exhibition halls you are having a journey through the centuries. You can see the life of Russian monarchs reflected in the precious items of applied art.
St.Basil's Cathedral - Every capital has a well-known landmark making it easily recognizable. In Moscow, the Cathedral of the Protecting Veil of the Mother of God, better known as the Cathedral of St. Vasily the Blessed (or St. Basil’s Cathedral, as it is often called in English), standing in Red Square is such a landmark. Can you believe that the cathedral’s original color was said to be white to match the white stone of the Kremlin? You will know much more amazing fact about history of the cathedral by the end of the tour.
Dinner. Moscow Metro – most beautiful metro in the world! There are the most beautiful stations of Moscow metro in tour program and 44 of them are objects of cultural heritage.
Day 3: Moscow
Breakfast. Tretjakov Art Gallery. This is the museum, which must be visited by everyone who is interested in the Russian history and art. Many of the museum exhibits, such as the works of art by Vasnetsov, Vrubel, Shishkin, Repin and Aivazovsky are known to the majority of Russians from textbooks. But life does not stand still and in 1983 was opened a branch of the gallery in Krymsky Val, 10. There is stored the collection of Russian avant-garde and art objects of the era of socialist realism. In addition, the museum also consists of a depositary and an Engineering block, where exhibitions are held. Dinner.
Old Arbat. If you want to know the city you have to walk it through on foot. And Arbat, the ancient street in the center of the capital, is the best for this purpose. Street artists, mimes and musicians make Stariy Arbat alive, unique and different day after day.
Day 4: Moscow – St.Petersburg
Breakfast. “Check out”. Transfer to the railway station. Transfer to St. Petersburg by comfortable train. Meeting at the Moscow railway station in St. Petersburg. Dinner. Transfer to the hotel. Free time.
Day 5: St.Petersburg.
Breakfast. Sightseeing tour. Peter and Paul Fortress. Located on the banks of the beautiful Neva River, the towering Peter and Paul Fortress dominates the skyline of St Petersburg. Built in 18th century, the fortress is a must-see attraction for anyone interested in the city's rich history. The fortress is also home to the famous Cathedral of St Peter and Paul, the city's oldest, dating back to 1712. Dinner.
Excursion to Tsarskoe Selo. During this guided tour you will get acquainted to one of the former imperial summer residence. You will enjoy the exterior and interior of Catherine’s Palace which is considered to be one of the world’s architectural masterpieces and walk in the romantic park that surrounds this palace. You will have a guided tour around marvelous rooms of the palace, including the Grand Hall decorated with gilded wood carving and mirrors; and, of course, you will admire the magnificent Amber Room.
Day 6: St.Petersburg.
Breakfast. Excursion to the Hermitage. The State Hermitage Museum is one of the largest and most significant museums in the world, which has about three million of artworks and monuments from all over the world. The museum’s unique collection includes paintings, drawings, sculptures, objects of applied art, archaeological finds and numismatic exhibits. The main museum complex is located in the famous Winter Palace of the Russian sovereigns.
Dinner. Boat trip along rivers and canals. St. Petersburg is often called the Venice of the North. It lies astride 42 islands washed by 65 rivers and canals. You will go along the old canals, tiny rivers and under the bridges. You will discover completely different city and it will be easy to imagine yourself in the 18th - 19th century St. Petersburg, where canals and boats existed.
Day 7: St.Petersburg.
Breakfast. Excursion to Peterhof. Built in the early 18th century by Peter the Great, Peterhof (also known as Petrodvorets) is the most splendid official royal summer residence, often called the "Russian Versailles". The territory of the Peterhof ensemble houses several magnificent palaces, such as the Grand Palace, Monplaisir and Marly, with magnificent interiors and a variety of museums. Also, there are beautifully landscaped parks and gardens with numerous amazing fountains, water cascades, pavilions, sculptures, reliefs, vases and mascarons. During the tour you will see a beautiful park with over 100 fountains, sculptures and beautiful buildings.
Return to St. Petersburg. Dinner. Free time.
Day 8: St.Petersburg.
Breakfast. “Check out”. Transfer to the airport.
